The Pondmaster AP Series Air Pumps provide reliable aeration for ponds, water gardens and aquariums. Each pump runs on 110 volts of electricity, has an oil-less motor and a 6-foot-long grounded power cord and includes a non-weighted air manifold diffuser. Every pump also has parts that are serviceable/replaceable. Air tubing is sold separately. Aerating ponds, water gardens and aquariums is very important, especially if they include koi or other fish. These continuous duty pumps produce a constant stream of air, adding oxygen and helping to circulate the water. The additional oxygen improves the water quality and clarity, which helps all aquatic life. In winter, each pump can keep a hole in surface ice, allowing toxic gas to escape.
