Durably constructed, the black irrigation valve box and green lid are engineered with structural reinforcing ribs for added support. The cut-out pipe hole makes it easier to connect irrigation pipe without having to dig under the box. The overlapping lid blocks dirt and debris from getting into the box and is marked for Irrigation Control Valve (ICV) use. Convenient slot makes lid easy to lift with a flathead screwdriver. Valve box is made of polypropylene (PP) using 100% recycled materials; cover is also made of PP using a combination of virgin and recycled materials. Both box and lid are treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking from sun exposure.
