Shell Pearls are made from the inner lining of oyster shells, also known as Mother of Pearl. The substance is ground to a fine powder, shaped, dyed and coated with natural pearl nacre and then a protective coating to give it lustre. Shell pearls will keep their color and shine and will not be affected by sweat and perfume.Cruciform beads are black hand blown lampwork beads with colored ornate patterns. The seed beads are gold plated. The rosary is approx. 10" long. The Cross is 1 1/2" brushed gold tone Orthodox. This rosary is made at time of purchase.
