To start of,the height is adjustable by a bit so for tall people,this is extremely comfortable and beneficial as the other one I had was not adjustable sadly.The foot is made of steel instead of heavy aluminum so it will last longer in terms of usage.Regardless of the floor that is on,wood,tile,ceramic,ect the rubber pads at the bottom seems to "lock in place" in addition of not sliding however I would not suggest for anybody to attempt to slide with this stool since its not meant for sliding.I take the stool with me to many places even at the park sometimes since it folds so easily and its light to carry (it feels about less than 8 pounds overall...).Please be very careful when it comes times to fold it as you dont want to forcefully break the connecting arms to the stool since it bends into place back and forth.When I lend it to other people,they like to add a extra pillow on top of the cushion as well for a more comfy experience but to me,its enough how it is in its own way.
