Our hoist sling can handle a 2000 lb. capacity and has a 3-to-1 safety rating (tested to 6,000 lbs.) Mounting cleats fasten to any engine allowing for quick and easy engine AND transmission swaps! The Oberg Tilt Lift Engine Sling allows you to progressively tilt and lift the engine up to 45 degrees in either direction. Our hoist sling comes with lever locks that hold into place at exact angles needed to lift or lower your engine in as little as 1/4" increments, using a 1/2" ratchet or breaker bar. This makes it easy for one-handed adjustment! Our lift has been making engine swaps easy for decades! Our upgraded steel components provided greater strength and better control of cable to eliminate possibility of crossover. Our sling has a 3 to 1 Safety Factor (tested up to 6,000 lbs.) and weighs only 4 Lbs. making it compact and easy to Store. Due to the special design of the Oberg Tilt Lift, one half turn of the drum with a regular half-inch ratchet or half-inch breaker bar will tilt an engine up to 45 degrees. Power tools will turn the drum too quickly and cause the cable to get tangled and jam inside the drum housing. USE OF POWER TOOL WILL VOID THE TILT LIFT WARRANTY. For best performance, occasionally apply lubricant to the drum body front and back, as well as to the cable. We recommend a spray lubricant or white grease. BEFORE turning the drum, make sure to attach both ends of the cable to your engine.
