Description

Phin filters- A single-serve, slow-drip coffee brewing tool used all over Vietnam. While Phin filters are straightforward, sustainable and simple to use. There are some things you should know and steps you should follow to get the best results. Here's a quick how-to: Pour the 25 g of ground coffee medium-fine into the phin filter, making the grounds as level as possible. Gently place the gravity press on top of the coffee grounds, and place the entire phin filter on top of the cup or mug. Boil 120 g of water, preferably in a kettle for easy pouring. Once boiling, pour 40 g of water over the gravity press and let the coffee bloom for one minute. After blooming the coffee, pour an additional 60 to 80 g of boiling water into the phin filter. For a stronger brew, add less water. Or you can add a 2nd time water for more coffee. After the coffee has finished brewing and there is no more water left in the phin filter, carefully remove the phin filter and set aside. You can drink however you like! Black coffee, hot or drop a few ice cubes or pour some milk and sugar according to your preference. At Nam Coffee, we know there are many ways to enjoy our premium coffee. You can either brew our beans using the traditional phin filter pour-over method, or you can use your favorite coffee maker. Either way, you're guaranteed a cup of coffee to give you that boost you need for the day.
