The Wouxun KG-XS20G takes the best features of a full size mobile radio and puts it into a compact package that fits into most any vehicle with ease. It has 30 GMRS channels, including 8 repeater channels, and can receive on dual UHF and VHF bands. It has NOAA weather channels and a built-in FM radio.

The XS20G is loaded with features, including 999 programmable memory channels, simultaneous dual channel receive, channel and frequency modes, wide and narrow bandwidth options, and support for both standard and non-standard CTCSS/DCS tones, plus split tones and tone scan. It has priority channel scanning and the ability to create up to 10 scan groups.

Other features include group call, all call and select call options, compander, DTMF encode/decode, high/low power selectivity, reverse frequency, talk around, an SOS function, English voice prompts and a stopwatch timer.

The KG-XS20G has a full color dual channel LCD display. It can display one or both A and B areas of the radio, channel names, numbers or frequencies, Caller ID and vehicle voltage. It has a speaker in the top of the unit and a 3.5mm external speaker jack on the back of the radio.

The KG-SX20G includes a handheld speaker mic with a full DTMF keypad, TX and RX LED indicators and a volume knob for independent control of the audio of the speaker mic. The keypad on the mic is also backlit. The radio is rated IP65 for dust and water resistance and the hand microphone is rated IP55.

The KG-XS20G is PC programmable. It has two function keys that can be customized with the programming software or directly from the radio itself. Each key can activate two specific functions, one with a short press, the second with a long press.

The Wouxun KG-SX20G includes a handheld speaker microphone, mobile mounting bracket, mobile power cord, 12V vehicle power cord, hand microphone hook, fuses, screw set, and an owner's manual in plain English.
