Description
Shrimp Snowflakes are also known as Soy Hull Pellets. Shrimp Snowflakes are dried, compressed, bagged up, and make the ideal substrate to stimulate the growth of mycelia, the vegetative form of aquatic-fungi which your freshwater shrimp will feed on over time. Each pellet will rehydrate and turn fuzzy. Over time they begin to rain small snowflake particles on the bottom of your tank. Feed sparingly as a supplemental or weekend feed. Not suitable as a primary diet. Gravel vac the remaining bits out of your tank with your regular water changes before feeding shrimp snowflakes again.
