Dual surface element 9 inches and 6 inches. 2500W. 240V. Wires must be connected to correct terminals (1a to 1a, 2b to 2b, etc.)
Installation notes
disconnect from the power supply (remove from the outlet that is 220V AC)
open the oven door and look for 2 screws that are holding the glass that cover the burners.
remove the side screw closest to the damaged element
take a pictures for the wiring in the damaged element (just for reference)
before disconnect the wires, level those with masking tape based on level identified 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, the purple and orange that are there keeps in the same position in the new heating element.
disconnect the wires
in the new element that is this part 316555800 locate the 1a, 1b, 2a, 2c and you will easily identify which cable goes to which terminal. (color code orange swapped with the black in the positions from old heating element to this new element).
probably you will need to drill to install the supports for this element that were installed in the damaged element.
once you have installed those supports, you can secure the base of the new part into the glass (be careful to align very well).
install the 2 screws to secure the glass with the body and then close the oven door.
install the cable into the 220 VAC outlet (restore the power)
Test the heating element and you are set (see pictures before and after)Remember Safety First, NEVER try to do this if the device is connected to the outlet (remove totally to avoid dangerous energies present)
