Like the original Portable Painter Classic, the palette in the Classic Plus Kit is about the size of a standard smartphone: One-inch thick and just 5.1oz (146gm.); yet it converts in seconds to a complete, professional-quality watercolor painting system. It fits effortlessly in a pocket, purse or daypack, so it's ideal for travel, both on, or off-road. It includes: two large, detachable water containers, two folding palette plates with plenty of deep mixing wells, an anodized aluminum clasp and a silicone retaining band. In addition to the standard twelve empty half-pans (W&N size) this kit comes with twelve Classic Expansion pans that are designed to fit perfectly in the brush slot. Three of these are pre-installed, so the palette is ready for eighteen of your favorite colors. There are two types of these pans: Single-cavity that holds 2.25cc/ml (close to a full pan) and twin-cavities, that each hold 1.1cc/ml. This kit includes twelve pans, (six of each,) plus reusable adhesive disks to secure them. Since the brush slot is filled, the kit includes two water-brushes, instead of the original double-brush. The Classic Plus Kit is packaged in an attractive, black microfiber drawstring pouch with satin lining.
