Weaving Polyhedron offers a series of weaving materials and finished products for individuals interested in geometric shapes, creating beautiful paper crafts with innovative weaving techniques. Unlike the usual methods of using unfolding diagrams with adhesive or combining origami folds, this model is crafted purely by hand using the weaving technique. It involves cutting paper strips into specific shapes but does not use glue at all. Origami can have inaccuracies due to the issue of paper thickness that cannot be overcome. The models are randomly shipped with different color schemes, and the actual colors are primarily based on the products inside the box. A set of handmade materials is included with this package, and you can use the instructional video to make a model that is 1.73 times larger. However, we must remind you that it is not easy for beginners as its weaving structure is more complex compared to model No.1, 2 and 3. We recommend that you first have a solid understanding of the weaving basics from model No.1, 2 and 3. If you need additional materials, they are also available for purchase in our store. Feel free to visit and select what you need. In geometry, the rhombic hexecontahedron is composed of 60 golden rhombi, and it is a stellation of the rhombic triacontahedron. Imagine extending each face of the rhombic triacontahedron outward or extending the vertices of the acute angles to create new rhombi. However, in the weaving technique, it is envisioned as a polyhedron where each face of the regular dodecahedron is inwardly carved to create pentagrams, with each pentagram forming a golden rhombus. This structure can be achieved by overlapping a golden rhombus while interweaving strips. The same weaving structure can be found in the seventh stellated icosahedron.
