Special Features

  • BETTER Z-WAVE NETWORK: Add the range extender to boost signal in your Z-Wave network to help devices on the edge communicate faster with your hub. It repeats signal for all generations and versions of Z-Wave devices in the mesh.
  • POWER OUTAGE REPORTS: If your hub supports advanced functionality, it will display power outage reports from the extender if the receptacle it's plugged into loses power. It's equipped with built-in backup battery.
  • 800 SERIES CHIP: Get more range than ever with the latest generation Z-Wave chip. Build a more reliable smart home you can depend on.
  • EXTRA SECURITY: This device supports SmartStart and S2 Authenticated Security, the highest possible level of security in the Z-Wave protocol to help you keep your smart home private.
  • LIFETIME TECH SUPPORT: Get your questions answered by a Z-Wave expert 7 days a week. Register your product for an extended 5-year warranty.
  • HUB COMPATIBILITY: This device will start repeating the signal once added to any Z-Wave hub (regardless of how it displays) but only the open systems support it fully, including advanced setting access and power outage reports: Z-Box Hub, Home Assistant (Z-Wave JS), Hubitat, HomeSeer. It works with SmartThings with advanced settings when a custom edge driver is installed (get it from Zooz support).

Description

NOTE: Your range extender may display as an on/off device or unknown device in your controller but it will do its job repeating the Z-Wave signal regardless and it can't be turned off even if there's an option for it in the app.
