This filter is designed to catch lint and debris that may build up in the exhaust system and cause overheating or increase risk of fire. Installing a replacement is a quick and easy way to keep your dryer in tip shape.
The filter may be located on the top of your dryer, or inside the dryer door depending on your model. When replacing the filter, take the time to ensure all dust and lint has been removed from the lint filter area. The filter should be cleared of debris after each dryer cycle.
