There are three modes available (Off/Alarm/Chime). As part of its discrete design, you can also place a lightweight mat over it. Your home alarm system can be seamlessly and simply improved with the 630 Pressure Mat Alarm. The gentle, pleasant chime can be used to welcome guests into your home or let you monitor the comings and goings of children and pets. Once you've placed your mat in a desired location, you can mount the wired alarm unit with the two included screws, or set the alarm unit on a table or countertop for ease of transport. The 30' wire is thin, allowing it to be tucked away and hidden when connected to your alarm mat.
If the alarm sounds weak or the chime sounds distorted, replace the alarm unit's 9V battery immediately. The battery life will vary depending on the number of uses per day and the selected sound option.
