Add a new radio to a compatible analog fleet without replacing every unit, then move selected teams to DMR as your system grows.   • 256 CHANNELS AND 16 ORGANIZED ZONES: Organize up to 256 channels into as many as 16 zones, with up to 16 channels per zone. Assign separate groups for departments, buildings, floors, shifts, job sites or event teams so users can reach the right people without working through one long channel list.   • 1000mW AUDIO AND 5-LEVEL MIC GAIN: The 1000mW/16-ohm speaker helps calls stay audible in active workplaces, while five selectable mic-gain levels let administrators adjust transmitted voice for different users and conditions. A digital mic-quality setting can also shift audio toward higher or lower pitch to improve intelligibility on digital channels
  • WORK ALONE AND EMERGENCY ALARM: Configure both functions in CPS for isolated or mobile staff. Work Alone starts a response timer and triggers an alert when the programmed time is reached. Pressing a key or transmitting voice cancels the alert. Emergency Alarm can be assigned to a programmable side key for faster access during a configured incident workflow
  • DIGITAL ROAMING AND REPEATER CHECK: For campuses, office buildings and multi-zone properties, activate Roaming to search a pre-programmed repeater list and lock onto the strongest available repeater. Repeater Check can report when the selected repeater is out of range. Both functions require advance CPS setup before deployment
  • CPS-PROGRAMMABLE CONTROLS: Two side keys can be assigned short, long-1 and long-2 actions for functions such as scan, VOX level, monitor, power switching, talk around, key lock, zone change, encryption and analog-digital switching. Configure each radio around the user's role so a security officer, technician or event coordinator can reach frequently used functions with fewer steps
  • SINGLE RADIO KIT AND USB-C CHARGING: Includes one D168 radio, one standard 1800mAh battery, antenna, belt clip, desktop charger, AC adapter, USB-C cable and manual. Charge the battery directly through the radio or connect USB-C power to the desktop charger with a standard 5V/2A adapter. The manual lists approximately 2.5 hours for the standard thin battery under specified charging
