Description

Introducing the Broadcom BCM83822-DIE, the first and most advanced 3-nm 200G/lane PAM-4 Gearbox PHY with integrated laser driver, enabling 800G DR4 and FR4 pluggable transceivers for next-gen AI/ML clusters and data centers. Leveraging market-leading DSP and equalization tech, it compensates for optical impairments, delivering top-tier BER performance and power efficiency. The BCM83822-DIE simplifies transceiver design and offers best-in-class performance with multiple line-side FEC options. It's a monolithic 800G (8:4) PAM-4 DSP, converting eight lanes of 106.25 Gb/s into four lanes of 212.5 Gb/s or 226.875G, featuring crossbar on both client and line sides for easier routing.
