Permabond 105 is a low viscosity cyanoacrylate adhesive engineered for bonding traditionally difficult materials like natural and synthetic rubbers (including EPDM and Butyl rubber) and hard-to-bond plastics. This single-component adhesive requires no mixing or heat curing, making it ideal for high-speed production lines. With a viscosity of 30-50 cP at 77°F, it provides excellent capillary action for tight-fitting parts. The adhesive cures rapidly through surface moisture, achieving handling strength in 5-15 seconds and full strength within 24 hours. It offers impressive shear strength up to 3200 psi on steel and maintains performance from -67°F to 212°F. The colorless formula creates virtually invisible bond lines and fills gaps up to 0.004 inches. For optimal results, surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from grease. While the adhesive works well on most materials, some surfaces may require special preparation or primers for best results.
