⚠️ Important Usage Notes (Please Read Before Purchase):
Wood & Plastic Only: This tool is engineered for materials with consistent resistance. Do NOT use on metal. The sudden torque when piercing metal will overcome the nylon ring's friction, causing slippage, friction-induced melting, or damage to the plastic inner ring.
Depth Consideration: To maintain straightness and stability, the collar has a robust height (up to 1.34"). When used with standard short bits, it will occupy a significant portion of the length. It is intended for shallow to medium depth drilling only.
Pro Tip for Tiny Bits: For bits at the absolute minimum size limit (e.g., 5/64"), adding a small piece of painter's tape to the bit shank will dramatically increase the nylon ring's grip and prevent spinning.
