Description

LORD 406/19 is a high-performance acrylic adhesive designed to replace traditional joining methods like welding and riveting. This fast-setting adhesive offers a 6-10 minute working time with handling strength achieved in 12-17 minutes. Its non-sag formula stays in place on vertical and overhead surfaces, making it versatile for various applications. The adhesive bonds effectively to unprepared metals and engineered thermoplastics, including XENOY, polycarbonate, ABS, and acrylics. With impressive temperature resistance from -40°F to +300°F, it maintains strength in demanding conditions. The glass microbead-infused formula ensures controlled minimum bondline width. When cured, this tan-colored adhesive demonstrates excellent tensile strength of 4,650 psi and 30% elongation. It effectively resists moisture, salt spray, weathering, and various chemicals including dilute acids, alkalis, solvents, oils, and greases. The 4:1 mix ratio by volume makes it practical for industrial applications where precise measurements are required.
