Notes:
No artificial contact resistance is allowed at the connection points between the primary circuit cable (or copper bar) and the shunt. The secondary voltage sampling point must not be taken from non-sampling points.
This fixed-value shunt is rated 0.5 level with a nominal voltage drop of 275mV. It is used in DC circuits in combination with a 75mA magnetoelectric millivoltmeter to extend the instrument's current measurement range.
