The Cortina 03-WS-8 Windsock is a durable, high-visibility windsock designed for reliable wind direction indication in outdoor environments. Measuring 8 feet in length with an 18-inch mouth opening, this windsock is constructed from PVC vinyl-coated nylon fabric, offering excellent weather resistance and long-term durability. All seams are double stitched and reinforced for added strength, while UV inhibitors help maintain the bright International Orange color even under prolonged sun exposure. The windsock is engineered to react to gentle airflow—beginning to open at approximately 3 mph and fully extending around 21 mph, making it suitable for a wide range of field, industrial, aviation, and general-purpose applications. Installation is simple using the pre-installed brass grommets, which allow the windsock to attach quickly to existing hardware using lock ties or standard mounting frames.
