RPI Glycerol is used in sample preparation and gel formation for polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Also used in casting gradient gels, as a protein stabilizer and storage buffer component. Glycerol has a wide range of uses both inside the research laboratory and for other industrial purposes. Water soluble.
