This C1190 Series In/Out Head is designed for use with simple, non-backwashing filtration systems such as pH neutralizers, carbon filters, and other media-based filters. It supports both upflow and downflow operation and fits standard tanks with a 2½" NPSM thread. The head includes a 1.050" distributor opening and features a drillable, pre-tapped ¼" FIPT vent port (exclusive to the C1190 model). For applications requiring easy media access, the C1190FP version includes a removable fill port with an internal screen that can be quickly serviced using the included wrench. All C-Series heads require a compatible C-Series fitting kit to ensure proper plumbing connections.
