Description

VACUETTE Coagulation Tubes are filled with buffered tri-sodium citrate solution and are appropriate for routine hemostasis testing. Citrate concentrations of either 3.2% (0.109 mol/L) or 3.8% (0.129 mol/L) are available. The choice in the concentration depends upon the policies of the laboratory. The mixing ratio is 1 part citrate to 9 parts blood when the tube is filled appropriately as indicated by the fill mark on the label.
