Installation Steps:
Confirm the square hole dimensions on the rack upright.
Align the cage nut (spring-tab side) with the square hole and press vertically until a “click” indicates secure engagement.
Screw the fastener into the threaded block of the cage nut from the equipment side and tighten to secure the device.
Removal: Insert a flathead screwdriver into the groove on the side of the cage nut, gently pry up the spring clip, and remove the entire nut from the front of the frame.
For high-value equipment or humid environments, the 304 stainless steel version is recommended for extended service life.
