This holster is made in collaboration with EMG-Helios, Matrix Tactical Systems, and a manufacturing facility that produces real firearm holsters. The idea was a simple, configurable, cost effective holster that would work with some of EMG's most unique lines of training weapons while also being compatible with Matrix Tactical Systems mounting platforms. Unlike other hard holsters, the trigger lock style adds an extra level of retention and security over standard friction lock holsters by locking the pistol via the trigger guard. The draw of the holster is smooth and instinctive; as you gain a positive grip on your sidearm, you will use your index finger to press the lock release to draw it in and out of the holster. The position of the release puts your index finger in the ready position as soon as the sidearm leaves the holster for quick weapon manipulation.
