The Secure 14CSET-1Y Chair Exit Alarm System helps caregivers monitor elderly adults and fall-risk patients who may attempt to stand from a chair or wheelchair without assistance. When pressure is removed from the sensor pad, the alarm monitor alerts caregivers so they can respond quickly and provide support.
This monitoring system improves awareness of patient movement in environments where supervision is critical, including nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living communities, hospice care settings, and home caregiving environments.
80 dB Alarm with Visual Alert
The SUA-1Y universal alarm monitor provides a loud 80 dB audible alarm and flashing alert light so caregivers can easily notice when a patient attempts to exit the chair. The alarm can be silenced using the tamper-resistant three-push reset button or it will automatically reset once the patient returns to the sensor pad.
Durable 12" x 12" Chair Sensor Pad
The included chair sensor pad is designed for durability and comfort during daily use. The pad cover is latex-free, incontinent-proof, and easy to clean, making it suitable for healthcare and long-term care environments. A reinforced metal connecting pin helps prevent breakage and withstand daily wear.
Expandable Monitoring System
The SUA-1Y alarm monitor can convert from a chair sensor monitoring alarm to a personal pull-cord alarm using the optional pin, cord, and clip accessory (sold separately). The monitor is compatible with Secure bed sensors, chair sensors, and alarming seat belt sensors, allowing caregivers to expand their monitoring setup as needed.
