Kenco Outfitters canoe yokes provide strength and rigidity at the canoe's mid-point. Wider yokes allow for a more comfortable portage, since the additional width distributes weight more evenly on the neck and shoulders. Our 39" canoe yoke is made of solid ash with a clear polyurethane finish and measures 0.8125" or 13/16" thick and just over 3" wide at the ends. Each yoke is handcrafted in the United States.
