Fan Shroud Sealing Tin, Doghouse Shroud to Oil Cooler AKA “Hoover Bit”

EMPI has redesigned this critical piece of engine tin using SolidWorks CAD with a wider lip creating an improved seal. Frequently overlooked and omitted during engine builds; the “Hoover Bit” must be bolted directly to the rear of the doghouse oil cooler. A missing “Hoover Bit” results in a less effective cooling system, leading to poor performance.

Please note that modifications may be required when installing aftermarket engine tin.

One Piece design, improved seal.
