IDF M109A1 ROCHEV. Plastic modelling is an area of model making in which models are predominantly made of plastic (today mostly polystyrene). These are, as a rule, drive-free stand models in which the interest is more on a high level of detail than on robustness or function, but which can also be played with to a limited extent. Predominantly kits made from prefabricated parts are used here. Rarely, one finds kits made from deep-drawn forms (Vacu kits) and pure resin kits.
