The vice has a revolving 4” steel faceplate and a fully pivoting support arm to give all around access to your workpiece. Benefit from the thread head, the face plate could be changed to other tools, like chuck etc.
Smooth 360° rotation of the faceplate allows easy access to all sides of your work. Two locking pins on the underside of the faceplate that lock against the clamp body, providing extra support when heavy blows are needed for initial roughing out work.
4” strong steel faceplate absorbs impacts and vibrations whilst carving, contains an arrangement of 10 fixing holes, positioned 30mm, 35mm and 45mm from the center.
The vice can be clamped onto workbenches or surfaces up to 100mm thick with the 40mm wide jaws, with the pivot handle allowing strong, stable clamping force to be exerted easily. The clamping feature on this carving vice allows it to be quickly and easily moved, allowing you to choose exactly where to work within your workshop.
The body is constructed of strong steel box-section, finished in a durable powder coating to prevent rust and corrosion.
