Description

This SFF-8654 to 8 SATA breakout harness lets you fan out a single SlimSAS 8i host port to eight standard SATA 7-pin device ports, ideal for expanding HDD/SSD capacity in NAS, DAS enclosures, home labs, and servers. Each SATA link supports up to 6Gbps (SATA III). The cable uses 30AWG conductors, dual shielding (foil + braid), and a nylon-braided trunk to deliver low crosstalk, clean signaling, and long-term durability. Metal-latch SATA ends ensure a secure fit, while clearly labeled P1–P8 tails simplify drive identification. Compatible with HBA/RAID controllers and motherboards that expose SFF-8654 8i (SlimSAS) ports from vendors such as LSI/Broadcom, Adaptec, Areca, and Supermicro.
