  • Easy Installation: First, carefully remove the old Water Filter O-Ring using an Water Filter O-Ring pick or similar tool, thoroughly removing all silt, sand and sediment from the groove. Then lightly but thoroughly lubricate the o-ring and clean threads with Vaseline and carefully screw on the housing with the new filter. Be sure to lubricate around the rubber to ensure an airtight seal!
  • Note: The o-ring gasket, which is used to seal the bottom of the housing to the top of the housing, should be lubricated with a silicone lubricant to prevent leakage from the water filtration system. The OR-34 seal should be replaced every two filter changes or if the OR-34 seal is damaged.
