Note: The current used when forming a single-phase rectifier bridge is within 90%, and the current used when forming a three-phase rectifier bridge is 130%; the temperature of the contact surface between the module and the radiator should be 70°C, and the radiator needs to be grounded.
Installation notes:
1. Considering that the voltage of the grid fluctuates and the load is generally several times larger than its rated current at startup, and the thyristor chip has poor resistance to current shocks, it is recommended that you leave an appropriate margin when selecting module current specifications.
2. The working junction temperature of the module die: the thyristor is -40℃∽125℃; the ambient temperature must not be higher than 40℃; the ambient humidity is less than 86%.
3. The use environment should be free of severe vibration and impact, and the environmental medium should be free of impurities and atmosphere that corrode metal and damage insulation.
4. Since the thyristor module is an insulated type (that is, the insulation withstand voltage between the module terminals and the copper base plate is greater than 2.5KV effective value), multiple modules can be installed on the same radiator, and a grounding wire is required.
5. The installation surface of the radiator should be flat and smooth, without scratches, bumps or debris. The surface finish of the heat sink should be less than 10μm.
When the module is installed on the heat sink, a thin layer of thermal grease should be applied between their contact surfaces. Before applying grease, use fine sandpaper to remove the oxide layer on the contact surface of the radiator, and then wipe the surface clean with absolute ethanol to ensure good contact and reduce thermal resistance.
When fastening the module to the surface of the radiator, use M5 or M6 screws and spring washers, and tighten the screws with a of 4NM
The connection with the main electrode of the module should be made of copper bars and have a smooth and flat contact surface to ensure good contact. After the module has been working for 3 hours, each screw must be tightened again.
