SIMPLE 4-STEP OPERATION - STEP 1—Warm the engine to normal operating temperature and remove the engine oil fill cap under the hood. STEP 2—Remove dust cap (use caution; cap will be warm). STEP 3—Thread the drainer hose onto the valve fully to drain oil into the waste container. STEP 4—Install dust cap. Make sure to tighten it so that it does not vibrate loose.
