Grade 70 chain with Grade 80 hooks designed specifically to provide a strong chain for tie-downs. Made from carbon steel and zinc plated gold chromate for corrosion resistance. Heat treated and 100% proof tested to 2X WLL rating. Oversized Grade 80 hooks provide more strength and material in the neck of the hook to reduce cracking due to trapped side pulls. Aluminum tags with stamped WLL information. Made to NACM standards per specifications of the Department of Transportation & CCMTA for tie-down use with properly marked links. All clevis hooks are made of heat treated alloy steel.
