  • MULTIPURPOSE – This reaction heat block fits 5 types of labware common to all labs: the block can hold 3 x 1-Dram Vials, 3 x 2.0 mL tubes, 8 x 1.5 mL tubes, 6 x 0.6 mL tubes, and 16 x 0.2 mL PCR tubes! The heating block even has a slot for a thermometer to ensure samples are heated to desired temperature!
  • FITS MAJOR DIGITAL DRY BATHS: The heat block fits all major digital dry heat heating systems including the following: ThermoScientific ReactiTherm, Cole Palmer Block heater - BH-200 Series, Fisherbrand Isotemp, Techne DriBlock Heater, Boekel Scientific heater, VWR Standard Block Heaters, and the VWR Advanced Dry Block Heaters. This heat block is NOT intended for use in the following systems: Chemglass Optichem, Thermolyne Dri-Bath, and the VWR Advanced Mini Dry Block Heater.
  • BUILT TO LAST – The reaction block is CNC-milled from 6061 aluminum that has been color anodized (red, type II) to provide a CORROSIVE RESISTANT FINISH! The aluminum build will not interfere with any magnetic stirring mechanism and will provide even heat transfer to your sample!
  • In addition to heating reaction samples, this block can easily be chilled in a refrigerator / freezer to act as a cooling block.
