The Ultimate Solution for Severe Stripped Threads - Introducing OxyGenie Magnetic Double Oversize Stainless Steel Piggyback Oil Drain Plug, When a standard or even a Single Oversize plug fails, this is your final fix. Our Double Oversize plug is engineered to repair heavily stripped, completely worn-out, or previously over-tapped oil pan threads, saving you from the high cost of a full oil pan replacement.
Features a larger outer diameter compared to Single Oversize plugs. It cuts brand new, deeper, and stronger threads into the damaged oil pan hole, creating a secure, permanent hold that a smaller oversize plug can no longer achieve.
Exclusive Dual-Seal Design for Zero-Leak Guarantee: Features a dual sealing design: a copper crush washer at the flange base creates a primary metal-to-metal seal, while an integrated O-ring on the piggyback screw provides a secondary, flexible seal. This dual-action design virtually eliminates any risk of oil leakage, ensuring a perfect, reliable seal every time.
Built-In Magnetic Tip for Active Engine Protection: Equipped with a powerful magnet in the piggyback drain plug that continuously captures ferrous metal particles and debris from the engine oil. This proactive filtration helps reduce engine wear, maintain oil cleanliness, and prolong your engine's lifespan.
The Ideal Solution - While various thread repair tools like Helicoil or self-tapping bolt and drain plug repair kits are available in the market, they present risks and challenges. Repairing the oil pan thread using these tools requires careful alignment of the tap perpendicular to the oil pan before cutting new threads, or it may result in oil leakage. However, with our piggyback oil drain plug, fixing your slipped oil pan thread is a breeze, involving just a few simple steps.
Package Include: 1pcs stainless steel self tapping piggyback oversize oil drain plug, specification: M14.2-1.5 x 15mm; 1pcs L Shape Hex Key Allen Wrench (for the piggyback drain plug); 2pcs fluorine o-ring for main plug; 2pcs red copper gasekt for piggyback drain plug;
Easy to Install: Step1. Make sure you clean the oil pan thread area thoroughly, there isn't excess oil around the area or in the threads. Step2. Thread the main plug into the hole, a few threads forward and then a few back. Once the plug bottoms out, remove it slowly and then use some brake cleaner to clean loose thread material. Step3. Use T-socket wrench, tighten the plug with a torque of around 14ft-lbf.
