Engine Compartment Seal For VW Beetle 50-66, Ghia 54-66, Type 2 55-71

Stock replacement engine seal. Seals engine tin to body. A must for engine cooling. When VW designed the air-cooled engine compartment it was very important to make a tight seal around the engine. Allowing all the hot air to be blown out of the bottom of the car. If the seals around the engine are worn or missing this will allow hot air to rise in the engine compartment from the exhaust causing overheating.
