Insure rubber lip has good seal all around the sink and is covering up the drain . Force plunger handle in downward motion to force the cup and water inside the cup down the drain. Lift the plunger up and repeat the plunging action until the clogged sink drains free. If rubber cup sticks in collapsed position, pull the cup ‘open' so it is fully extended position plunger over the over the drain again and repeat as needed until drain is clog free.
