This 1L Wide Mouth Storage Media Bottle is designed for heavy duty storage as well as mixing and sampling. The extra wide mouth diameter space gives easier access for pouring and removing pastes, powders, and larger items.
The neck of the bottle opening is 5 times larger than on GL45 threaded bottles which makes it much easier to add or remove powders and easier to clean. PYREX bottles can be sterilized by autoclaving or dry heat, while the polypropylene caps can be autoclaved
This Widemouth bottle is made of Boro 3.3 and withstand high thermal shock and usable upto 500ºC and in microwave ovens. Each bottle features a traceability code to help with documentation, tracing and chain of custody.
High quality, permanent white enamel is used for visible graduations and marking spots for high touch environments and usability
CAUTION - These bottles are not designed and not for vacuum use. CAUTION: DO NOT tighten caps immediately after autoclaving as the vacuum resulting from cooling can cause breakage.
