Wagtime Club was born out of a storm—but built on joy, resilience, and an over-the-top love for dogs. After moving to Texas for a new job opportunity, our growing family was blindsided by a financial crisis that left us at a breaking point. With a new baby on the way and uncertainty all around, our energetic labradoodle, Gracie—with her constantly wagging tail and joyful spirit—reminded us that happiness is still possible when you choose to cherish the little things.
As lifelong dog lovers, being outdoors—walking, jogging, and simply breathing in nature—became our sanctuary. No matter what life threw at us, walking with our pup was the therapy that motivated us to not give up, to be determined to find a way for our family, Grabbing the leash and hitting the trail with our pup helped us stay grounded and hopeful.
But there was one recurring issue: finding a leash that could truly handle Gracie's energy. Most options lacked comfort or control—especially in those unpredictable moments every dog owner knows too well. After one too many leash mishaps on the road, we had a realization: if we couldn't find a better leash, we'd make one.
From late-night research in hotel bathrooms to early-morning packaging runs, Wagtime Club was built during the quiet, determined hours between family and work.
