KSD201-70°C Normally Open Thermostat Thermal Fuse, for Microwave Fan Control, High Temperature Activation, with Movable Ring, NO Type Switch, Set Temperature 70°C (158°F)
All electronics ship with US style plugs. You may need a voltage converter or a plug adapter.
Special Features
Working Principle:In normal (room) temperature, the contacts remain open (non-conductive). When the temperature rises to 70°C (158°F), the contacts automatically close to conduct current. The thermostat resets to open once cooled. You may test the conduction behavior using a multimeter at ambient and heated states
Application Scenarios:Fits replacing thermal switches in microwaves, water heaters, refrigerators, dryers, and other appliances where fan activation, overheat warning, or high-temp triggered control is required. Please ensure your original part is a Normally Open (NO) type before installation
Product Parameters:Before purchasing, please confirm the following to ensure compatibility:Action Type: Normally Open (NO);Terminal Type: Quick-connect tab terminals;Set Temperature: 70°C;Rated Voltage/Current: 250V / 10A
Common Fault Symptoms:If your microwave shows symptoms like fan not spinning, auto shut-off during high-temp use, continuous beeping, or error codes (e.g., E01, E05), the normally open thermal switch controlling the fan may have failed, cooling will not be triggered, which can lead to overheating and system protection shutdown
Compatibility: Before purchasing, please make sure the contact terminal shape matches your old switch, your microwave oven requires a Normally Open (NO) switch, and the temperature range (0-70°C) meets your needs
Warm Note:NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) thermostats may look similar but function very differently. If your appliance uses a Normally Closed (NC) type, this product will not function properly. Always verify the thermostat type (NO/NC) and temperature rating before purchase
