Cathy's Fleeing Crab is a perfect fly to throw in any location that has the target species. This pattern has been catching fish for years and years.

Besides being a well know fly for the elusive Permit, it is a great fly to throw at Bonefish Tarpon and even Redfish.

The weighted eyes allow this fly to travel upside down like you want and has a weed guard it allows the angler to move the fly when the permit is around and not worry about snagging the bottom. If you are not a weed guard angler, just clip it off.

This fly has some great fish-ability but it also looks like a delectable multicolored native crab for the pickiest of Permit.
