Special Features

  • Working Principle: The photodiode on the chip converts light signals into weak current signals, which are then amplified by an internal operational amplifier and converted to voltage signals. A built-in 16-bit analog-to-digital converter converts the analog voltage signals into digital signals, which are then communicated with an external microprocessor via the I2C bus
  • Precise Measurement: The BH1750 covers a wide range of 0 to 655351x, allowing it to accurately capture everything from faint moonlight to bright sunlight. Furthermore, these modules are insensitive to ambient light sources, accurately measuring natural light, incandescent lamps, fluorescent lamps, and other light sources
  • Low-power Design: Supports low-power mode (sleep after a single measurement, current can drop to less than 1μA), making it suitable for long-term data acquisition in portable, battery-powered devices
  • Application Scenarios: Automatic brightness adjustment of smartphones and tablets; automatic switching and brightness adjustment of smart lamps (such as bedside lamps and ceiling lamps); automatic opening and closing of curtain motors; greenhouse light intensity monitoring; light data collection at weather stations, etc
