2. How to Understand Adapter Ring Size Marking
The numbers on the ring show the size adaptation relationship. Take a 55-58mm step-up ring as an example: the first number is the thread size of your camera lens, and the second number is the thread size of the accessory (like filters, lens hoods, flashes).
If your camera lens has a 55mm thread size but your filter is 58mm, use the 55-58mm step-up ring.
If your camera lens has an 58mm thread size but your filter is 55mm, choose the 58-55mm step-down ring.
