Special Features

  • 17" long solid aluminum foam grip tool handles. Overall tool & handle length is 26.5".
  • This set of carbide lathe tools is ideal for turners at any skill level. With carbide it's all turning and no sharpening so you can begin turning immediately.
  • Each lathe tool features a carbide tip with multiple sharp edges that can be rotated several times. A Torx star wrench is included.
  • Each lathe tool is 1/2" square, with the exception of the 3/8" x 1" Simple Scraper, and are CNC machined by Harrison Specialties in Ramsey, Minnesota. These tools are designed to be kept flat on the tool rest and parallel with the floor.

Description

You get these 4 tools in this set: Simple Scraper - The widest and most unique carbide scraper on the market. (our newest tool!) The oval negative rake carbide cutter is included. Simple Rougher (SR) - Normally the first tool to create the basic shape. A 90° square carbide cutter is included. Simple Turner and Hollower (STH) - This tool makes gentle curves inside and out and refines the shape. Simple 55° Detailer (S55D) - Get creative with this tool and make fine details. Also, perfect for making a dovetail tenon for holding turnings in a 4 jaw chuck. 17" Solid aluminum polished handle comes with a soft comfortable foam rubber grip. Handle is interchangeable or order additional handles for convenience.
