The coupler is designed for use in a home with a 120V/240V split-phase electrical system. It installs in a junction box and wires into two phases (circuits) of the circuit breaker panel. This upgraded model features four main improvements over the original model: Same size as wall switch models RWS, WS1DL-6, WS1R-15 to match. Fits in a single-gang box just like a wall switch dimmer.
