The Superstar Makes a Super Return One of TAMA's earliest flagships, the uber-successful Superstar series both put TAMA on the map and sent them down their path of creating groundbreaking drums and hardware. To celebrate TAMA's 50th Anniversary, they've reissued the initial Superstar drums as limited edition models. Each drum is built with the original series' 6-ply, all-birch shell formula and adorned with original-design badges and lugs, tom brackets, triple-flanged hoops, and matching interior shell finishes. For a slightly modern touch, TAMA has added newer bass drum spurs and their MTH800 Tom Holder.
