What is a front coated mirror?
An optical element that reflects a layer of incident light on a surface of an optical glass substrate by vacuum plating of a layer of metallic silver film (aluminum).
As it is the reflection of the first reflective surface, the reflected image is not distorted and there are no ghost images due to a front coated mirror.
